Colourful you

I have an issue with colours. Or should I say to much colours. I was scanning thru Asos and saw these pastellsweaters. I like them, but the colours might be alittle to strong for me. I wonder if I would feel comfortable in them. The strongest colour that I normaly use is red and that's about it.

Gant Rugger

These two looks amongst my favourite looks this season. They might be boring but this type of americaneastcoast style with a hint of dandy and 80s Harvard style is hot. The first look is a favourite, just look at the hair, the glasses and the detailing. Gant did a good job.

Nite nite

I have to go to bed now. Soo tired and I have to get up in 5 hours...and I have no energy for that. But hopefully I will not have to work all day tomorrow. I want to be with my Karin. We watched some TV, talked and we cooked some thai-soup. Loves it. Posting the last song that we listened to before hitting the bed. Talk tomorrow y'all ;)

Oscars - Best dressed

I never ever write about these things. But since one of my heros was walking down on the redcarpet I decided that this is the time to write about this.

According to me best dressed man at the Oscars was Tom Ford in his own design. Sleek and perfect fit. It's almost like and "Of course" moment since he knows his own body so he can design something perfect.

When it comes to the women I would say Carey Mulligan in Prada. She lifted the whole outfit to another level with the short hair and makeup. Mrs Prada must be very happy.

If 40 is the new 20, then what are the 30s?

These last couple of weeks has been somewhat life changing for many of my closest friends and family. All of them have come to the sense that they need to do something drastic with their lives. Most of them were not planned at all, others had some strategic moves that they had planned for some time now.

Also everything around me on TV, radio (yes I do listen to the radio sometimes) and in the written media have all talked about live changing moments and how to think outside the box. This thing is haunting me somehow. For example, Courtney Cox does a show about a 40 something women that are re-living their lives to the fullest. Basically being 20 again.

But if being 40 is the new 20, then what are we that are closing in on 30 or just passed 30?! Are we the new teenagers? Are we going to be super crazy, party like it’s the first time we go outside our houses and just explore everything that is new to us? Does anyone even remember how it was to be 15? I’m trying to remember but I know that I was pretty fearless and my partners in crime made me do some crazy things. Well I wanted to do some crazy things.

Also is stability so last year? That is the beauty with a finacialcrisis, we all have think outside the box. Maybe that is why all this subject is coming up all the time? One person in my family has decided to move to Malmö, I’m becoming an uncle cause one of my sisters are pregnant, two of my dearest friends have re-started their lives as singles and have their own businesses, one has gone from one company to another and then to a third one to make sure to get the best that he can for his own carrier and the list goes on.

So tell me, what is your next move? Is it ok just to do as one pleases to make sure that you get what you want…or is it better to play it safe?

When the sun came out

Today the sun came out and honestly it was kind of warm. I decided to hit the city to check out some things.

When I was at Spirit (they have Whyred, Acne, Tiger of Sweden, Filippa K and so on) my cousin Martin called and told me to meet up. I asked where he was and he said above Spirit. So he came down and we went shopping. We went to Zara, Solo, Tjallamalla and Weekday. A day of spending. We also met up with Chris and went to Noir this little 30s noir inspired café. So hot.

Then we went on to La Stella del Nord and said hi to Enrica and friends. I had a great and just perfect day. Now I'm home and writing this (trying to simulate that with the picture below...lame I know). Was thinking about going out but decided to stay in. I have recently gotten a reputation that I never go out, so everyone was bothering me about it today. I will soon...party hardy...and then I'll do it in my dear Copenhagen. Ok, now I will see a movie cause I got a new dvd-player that works...hahahah.

Cattis Lost in Tokyo

One of our friends have become an expat in Tokyo. Her blog is seriously one of the funniest around. If you understand Swedish you would laugh and laugh hard. Follow miss Cattis on her journey in Japan. Loves it ;)

INFILL Stokhusgade CPH

When I saw this house I thought "This is where I want to live". Simple, great blend, and openfloorplan...amazing. I am in love. It is designed by Holscher Arkitekter AS for Claus Sivager and Nils Holscher. The photos are by Peter Norby.

New Hair

So here is what my hair looks like. Love Ida, she has faded the structure so you can't see any hard lines.

Anyhow, the other picture is when i went to the gym yesterday at 0600 in the morning...I know, I'm crazy. But one day I'll show all of you how I looked a couple of years ago. Sooo skinny and small. Gotta get to work now. Talk later ;)
