According to me best dressed man at the Oscars was Tom Ford in his own design. Sleek and perfect fit. It's almost like and "of course" moment since he knows his own body so he can design something perfect.
When it comes to the women I would say Carey Mulligan in Prada. She lifted the whole outfit to another level with the short hair and makeup. Mrs. Prada must be very happy.

Would definitely agree. Tom looked perfect as always, showing everyone how it should be done. Love the shape of at the base of the shawl collar.
Robert Downey Jr's contrast bowtie was cool, but didnt match Tom in the end.
Carey's elfin hair and youthful Prada number played up to her strengths and beauty, the looks I dont think worked here were those wearing Armani Prive....just looked like they rolled in bubble wrap before rocking up!
True, Armani Prive is somewhat tacky. I dont like the dresses. Roberts look was too dressed down, almost like JonnyDepp does from time to time. But we have to give them the benifit of staying true to their own styles.
Tom Ford looks divine as always :-)

Never enough of Tom Ford- just a pity that Colin Firth didn't get Oscar for his role in A Single Man.

Totally agree with you. Tom is clearly one of the worlds best dressed, and one of my heros too.
Mulligan, on the other hand is not someove i admire, but she soure looks good!
i've met your hero (tom ford) several times at work. he is a very striking, handsome,tall, always in a suit man with a mischievous quasi smile. he is what he is. he is definitely not down to earth.
M I agree, I dont know anything about Mulligan..but she seems cute.

Normally I love Robert style but just think it missed this time...though better to be brave and sometimes miss the mark than stayed and boring.
Hi Nick! But I think that he didnt go. His style is ok. I agree and if I ever would go I would go for a scandodesigner and do something classy, sleek and a bit weird.
