Good Mornin*

Mornings, they can be wonderful or just plain awful. A morning can set the entire mood of a day. I try to make the best of my mornings, but I fail every time, well almost. I try to eat breakfast and read the newspaper, go thru my mails, shower, style myself and then leave.

But the truth is that my mornings look like this. I get up, shower, styling, a glass of water and then I run to the bus. I check my mails on the train or sleep. Since I started school as a little toddler I wasn’t able to eat breakfast. It doesn’t have anything to do with me not having time to eat, it is just that I do not have an appetite early in the mornings. But now I will try to eat every morning before I leave my home.

Before I left for Chania I did have breakfast. I had a grapefruit and a smoothie, made out of fresh fruit. It was really nice, and honestly I manage to give 150% at work when I get a good start, compared to a 100% when I just make sure that I look good before I leave.

How do you guys start your mornings? What do you eat and what are your routines? I could really need some tips to get inspired.

hi paolo,

how are you?

you are so right about the morning rituals. i have the same trouble.

i normally grab breakfast pack on my way and eat in my office ('cause i come an hour earlier at work), check my emails and take time to read your blog (truth), etc. and surely, after a while my caffeine and nutrient intakes start to kick-in and have a joyful day.

usual weekend, i have big brunch 'cause i get up late. eggs in milk, butter and cheese, freshly-squeezed oranges, earl grey tea with honey and milk, fresh berries, toasted crumpets, sausages or bacon and baked beans, either reading fashion bible or fMen on TV. i know it's lots but that's my ideal morning start.

one note, my all-week wardrobe is carefully planned and ready so it gives me a bit of time for my morning fashionTV sneak.

that's all! talk to you soon...

it's me.

Hi A,

Loved reading this. I haven't managed to fet my morning rituals togheter at all. Now, I have started to watch Oprah or the news, so that's something.

I also drink water, a big glas of water. And that actually gets me started. But I do need to eat. I tend to eat when I get to the office, but I need to eat at home.

I should try to post something when I eat breakfast and make that a part of my mornings, but I read magazines and scan the internet on the train to work.

I should paln my wardrobe period. There's no planning what so ever and I'm starting to not liking that.

Talk soon
Paolo
