Envii - Opening
Yesterday I went to Copenhagen(as usual) but this time I went to two events. Event one was for "The House of Marley". On of Bob Marley’s sons was there for a launch party for their headphones. The second event was for the Danish brand "Envii". They opened a flagship store on Kronprinsgade in Copenhagen and it is a women’s brand. The opening was very well planned, good food and we did not have to worry that the champagne would end.
I met some great people, and the after party was a lot of fun. This is why I love Copenhagen, you just start to talk to people every where and everyone (almost) are really stylish. Also the artist at the after party at Zoo Bar was so great. His name is Mads Langer and you need to listen to him. I will post one of his songs soon.

Dolce & Gabbana - Work a Sweat
Dolce & Gabbana have always been a brand that have a love for sports and athletic guys. Their gym collection is ok in price and it looks very good, especially the campaign pictures. Dolce & Gabbana knows their men well.
Anna Dello Russo at H&M - Paris Event
I adore Anna. She is sooo italian that it is crazy. I even think that Fellini would have loved her. This video of her Event togheter with H&M in Paris was spectacular. The only bad thing about this video was that I could not edit out one specific thing.
H&M - Cashmere
H&M are doing cashmere now. These cabelknitted sweaters are now available for 799 Sek. These are great if you don't want to spend a fortune. The green color is really interessting. You can get them at H&M's webshop.
Cheap Monday - Cepti Ring
This brilliant ring from Cheap Monday is a cheap one. It can be a really cool accessory, especially if one is dressed simple and elegant. You can get it on Yokiono webshop and it retails for 100 Sek. Like I said...cheap.
Valextra - Document Holder
I was looking for a new case for my new Macbook Air. So yesterday night when i was scanning every single webshop out there I finally fount this one from Valextra. Lanvin - Satin-Trimmed Long-Sleeved Henley
There are certian things that defines me. Vintage watches, macaroons, Pol Roger champagne and grandpa sweaters. This one from Lanvin is divine and is in the right color. I love blue, especially when it is combined with something grey. This one is available at Mr Porter and retails for 190 £. My Christmas list will be somewhat longer this year...
Röyksopp ft. Robyn - The Girl And The Robot
This track is one of the best ever made. Robyn and Röyksopp did this collaboration some time ago, The video is not the best, but it works.
Orlebar Brown x Nick Wooster - Setters
I have gotten alot of mails and questions about my shorts that I was wearing in Brunei around the Empire pool. They are from Orlebar Brown, and it is the Setter model. This particular model with the camo pattern is a Nick Wooster collaboration. You can get them at Orlebar Brown and they retail for 149 £. I love them and the quality is extremly good, also I do look good in them.
Missoni x Converse - Archive Project
ASOS BLACK x Puma - Panel Sweat
The Asos Black and Puma collaboration is brilliant. The collection is out on Asos webshop and I had a look today. This sweatshirt has big contrasts between the two different materials that the sweater is made out of. It's calm colors can really brighten up this dull fall weather. It retails for 35£ and you can get it at ASOS.
Wallpaper* - Lang Lang at Versailles
Have a look at this. Guest editor Lang Lang did a performance in Versailles, that was in collaboration with experimental theatre director (and 2010 guest editor) Robert Wilson and composer Alexandre Desplat. The event was a Wallpaper* event and it looks spectacular. The surroundings are somewhat magical. I was just waiting for Marie Antoinette to sit in the audience with her entourage.
IRO Talia Jacket @ Natalie Shuterman
I saw this wonderful bouclé jacket from IRO on Natalie Shutermans webshop. It is very Serena van der Woodsen, but a bit more avantgard. It retails for 4895 Sek and you can get it at Natalie Shuterman.
Some Questions - Paul Talarico
I had the pleasure to get to know Australian designer Paul Talarico. How I found his and his partners brand is still a mistery to me, but I feel in love with Clemente Talarico the first time I saw one of their campaign pictures. Paul is the sweetest man and creates clothes that are fashionable but still clothes that are wearable.
Who is Paul Talarico?
I often wonder that myself!
Well, I am apart of a partnership with Clement Chuah and together we are the driving force of “Clemente Talarico”.
I am 38 with a career always based in men’s fashion design, working 10 years for a large Melbourne men’s wear label before embarking on my own 5 1/2 years ago with my Partner Clem.
I am passionate about design and love the whole process of creating something tangible from just a thought or collection of ideas. I enjoy and cherish my family, friends and my partner Clem who is the most amazing, talented and wise person I know. Oh, and I am insanely in love with my miniature schnauzer Harry.
What defines Clemente Talaricos design?
I think it has always been the desire of both Clement and I to create something that was our own and easily identifiable as “Our brand”. We always strive to create something that does not sit “comfortably” in the Melbourne men’s wear landscape which can be a little generic. Our mission is to offer up a collection of fresh ideas every season so we are stimulated by creating and selling the stock, but more importantly our clients enjoy coming to see what is new.
For me personally the most important thing is to give our client a “Clemente Talarico” product and not just a carbon copy of another designers or brands work.
Who is Your style inspiration?
You Paolo...of course! ;-)
What is the most important men's fashion accessory?
Can I say “confidence” without sounding like a tool? You know you could spout of the “what’s hot” and “what you need to have” every time but if the individual who has decided to follow that trend hasn’t got the confidence to pull it off it’s always going to look like crap.
I havent really answered your question Paolo, but who has time to go shopping for accessories! I have a business to run bello!
Where and thru what do you find your inspiration?
Inspiration can come from so many different sources every season depending on our theme. This current summer season we have in store has a very American “southwestern” theme, so it was a matter of looking at all the places, cultures and people that define that look. For us we took that southwestern look and gave it a very 50’s feel by the way it was styled and certain pieces in the collection.

Bottega Veneta - Shadow Intrecciolusion Tote
I might be a tad early, but I found something that I want for Christmas. Yes you read it right. This nylon tote bag from Bottega Veneta is really nice and since I don't really wear any colors it suits me that it is grey.
I might have to get it for myself...or who knows.
You can get it online in Japan, UK and the US at Bottega Veneta.
